Jewelry Link
1.Why does the jewelry flash and vibrate to notify messages when the app is open on a Samsung phone(running Android 14), but the jewelry cannot send or receive messages when the app is switched to the background or the screen is off?
To ensure smooth communication and data synchronization between the jewelry and the application, the application needs to remain running in the background. However, due to restrictions in the Samsung phone system, when the application is sent to the background, it may be automatically cleared by the system, leading to disconnection between the jewelry and the application. Consequently, the jewelry cannot send or receive messages.
To ensure real-time message sending and receiving, please follow these steps to check and set the permission: Go to "APP > ME > How to stay connected" to configure the related permissions.
2.Jewelry and app connection not working?
Please open the app and make sure to follow the steps in the app to connect the jewelry. Before that, please check if Bluetooth is on and tap the jewelry to see if it has power.
(1) If it's an Android phone: do not pair in the Bluetooth page in the phone's settings in advance.
(2) If it's an iPhone: check if the jewelry is connected to other phones and if the jewelry and Bluetooth pairing (named TWO80) have been ignored in the Bluetooth settings of the phone system.
Once you confirm that there are no problems with the above, you can try to reconnect step by step as follows:
(1) Turn off the system Bluetooth, then turn it back on after 10 seconds
(2)Restart the totwoo - press and hold the totwoo for about 30 seconds.
(3) Log out and log back in to reconnect the jewelry
(4)If the above three steps still don't work, try restarting your phone.

3.What should I do if the jewelry and the app were previously connected, but now it's showing that they are disconnected and cannot be reconnected?
(1)Please check if Bluetooth is turned off, tap the jewelry to check if it's powered on, and verify whether the jewelry is connected to any other mobile phones.
(2) After confirming that all of the above are OK, please try the following methods one by one:

4. The phone was successfully connected to the jewellery before, why can't it connect now after disconnecting?
(1) If it's an iPhone: After disconnecting the jewelry, ignore the connected device (name like TWO80) in the [Settings] - [Bluetooth] - [My Devices] system
(2) If it is an Android phone: Please check if there is a device name starting with TWO in the system [Settings] - [Bluetooth] - [Paired Devices] list, if there is, please make sure to click to cancel the pairing.
(3) Once you've confirmed that the above steps are OK, try the following methods one by one to see if you can reconnect:
-Turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on after 10 seconds.
-Close the app and reopen it.

5. Can totwoo jewelry be connected to more than one phone simultaneously?
No. One phone can only connect with one bracelet at a time.
If you need to connect your jewelry to the other phone, you need to disconnect the bluetooth of first bracelet.
Note: If an iPhone was previously connected, remember to ignore the connected device (name e.g. TWO80) in System [Settings] - [Bluetooth] - [My Devices] before reconnecting the other phone.
6. The jewelry is shown as connected in the system's Bluetooth list, but the status remains "Connecting" in the app. How can this be resolved?
(1)Restart the jewelry by following these steps: "Long press the front panel of the jewelry for about 30 seconds until the jewelry displays red, green, and blue lights alternately flashing, indicating a successful restart." After restarting, try connecting the jewelry again

1. Why does it show that my partner doesn't have a registered totwoo account when I invite them?
Please make sure that the phone number they provided is the same one they used to register.If the paired users have phone numbers from different countries, make sure the "country code and phone number" are entered correctly. If selecting the number from the contact list, ensure it is saved in the format "+[country /area code][phone number]". Please note that the name field can only contain letters.
2.Why doesn't my jewelry flash after receiving totwoo notification when I leave the app or the screen is turned off on my iPhone?
Please check if the totwoo Notification permission and Background App Refresh permission are enabled, if the jewelry and the app are connected, and if new totwoo notifications can be received by the phone.

3.Does the "TWOO" telepathy function have any geographical limitations between the two people it connects?
The "TWOO" function is achieved through internet interaction. As long as both parties maintain a smooth mobile network connection, there is no geographical or distance limitation. 4.Is it necessary for both parties to have jewelry to use the "TWOO" function for interaction?

When one person successfully sends a "TWOO" message on totwoo, the flashing vibration of the other person's jewelry may be affected by the user's current network environment and Bluetooth connection status.
If the user's network environment is poor at the time, there may be a delay in the APP receiving the message, which in turn causes a delay in the jewelry's flashing and vibration. Similarly, if the connection between the jewelry and Bluetooth is unstable at the time, the timeliness of the command transmitted from the APP to the jewelry via Bluetooth cannot be guaranteed, which can also cause a delay in the jewelry's flashing and vibration. 6.Why does the recipient's jewelry not flash or vibrate when I send a message in a private chat interface?
Considering that sending and receiving messages is frequent, frequent flashing and vibrating reminders can affect and harass users, so messages are temporarily not set with flashing or vibrating reminders.

Jewelry Flash
1.How to ensure the normal use of jewelry reminder function?
In addition to the jewelry being in normal connection and the reminder being turned on in the App, it is also necessary to make sure to find totwoo in the phone system's "Notifications" management and turn on "Allow Notifications". Upon opening the App for the first time, be sure to click "Allow" on all the various operation prompts for obtaining system permissions to ensure the normal use of the function.
2. When the jewelry is charging, will it light up and vibrate if someone sends a love signal such as "I am missing you"?
Yes. As long as the jewelry is properly connected to the phone via Bluetooth, it will light up and vibrate regardless of whether it is charging or not. If the jewelry can't flash or vibrate, please check the connection to ensure it is working properly.
3.Why isn't the jewelry flashing and vibrating when there is an incoming call on the phone?
(1) First, please check:
① Whether the jewelry and the App are connected normally
-Open the App's incoming call reminder page and check if the incoming call reminder switch is turned on. If it is turned on, check if the actual incoming call is within the scope of the selected "Contacts that need to be reminded" option. For example: If the selection is "Only contacts' incoming calls", but the actual incoming call number is not saved in the contacts.
② If it's an Android phone, check if the Totwoo App is running in the background when there is an incoming call.
③ If it's an Apple phone, confirm that after the jewelry was successfully connected, the Bluetooth pairing request popped up as shown in the figure. If it was not clicked, clicking on the pairing is necessary to receive incoming call reminders.

①Turn off the switch for call reminders, then turn it on again.

This is because the OPPO phone system is different from other phone systems. Each time an app is installed, the system automatically sets all notifications and auto-start permissions to the default closed state. This directly leads to the phone being unable to receive message notifications, affecting the normal reminder function of the smart jewelry. Therefore, after reinstalling the app, please do not forget to check and complete all system settings according to the steps in [My] - [Phone Important Settings].
6.Why doesn't the jewelry flash or vibrate to remind when a call comes in on Xiaomi/Redmi phones?
The Xiaomi/Redmi phone system by default disables the permission for apps to automatically access phone call information. Therefore, users need to manually enable this permission for the app to activate the jewelry's call reminder function.
Please follow these steps to adjust the settings: Phone System Settings - Apps - Manage Apps - totwoo - Permissions - Access Phone app - Choose "Always allow". For MIUI12 and above versions, it's necessary to disable "Return blank messages" on the current page.

1.Why is my jewelry sometimes unable to charge?
This is largely due to the voltage transition of your power adapter, which is incompatible with the voltage of the totwoo charger. The voltage output of the totwoo charger is standard at 5V, which is the same as most mobile phones. However, it cannot adapt to output above 5V (which can be found in the data specifications of your power adapter) or fast charging power adapters. Please try to use your mobile phone charger adapter to connect to the totwoo charger, or charge the totwoo with your computer.

Therefore, relevant permissions need to be enabled in the settings, and the app needs to be kept running in the background. This may increase the power consumption of the phone, but not by much. The power consumption is similar to that of other apps under normal circumstances. If you still think that the power consumption is too fast, you can consider closing the app and turning off background location and Bluetooth permissions when not using the jewelry. You can then open them again when needed.
2.I sent a love letter to the other person, why he can't receive it?
If the sender and receiver use mobile phone numbers from different countries/regions, you need to save the format of "+ area code phone number" when storing the phone number, or directly add the other party's phone number as "+ area code phone number" when selecting the recipient format, otherwise it cannot be sent successfully

The totwoo smart chip inside the accessory has passed the waterproof test (with a waterproof rating of IPX5). Therefore, getting the jewelry wet in daily life does not affect the use of the smart chip. However, to keep the jewelry with good apparence in the long run, we do not recommend to submerge it in water. Keeping the jewelry dry is beneficial for maintenance. If the jewelry gets wet in daily life, it should be dried promptly. Preferably avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming or bathing.
4.Does the jewelry emit radiation? How far can it be from the phone when connected?
The totwoo smart chip inside the jewelry uses advanced international low-power Bluetooth (BLE) technology, which emits far less radiation than a mobile signal and a regular Bluetooth earphone and can be ignored. The effective working distance between the phone and the bound jewelry is about 3 meters. If the distance is exceeded, the Bluetooth connection will be disconnected. However, even within the distance, it still depends on the specific environmental conditions, such as if there are too many people or if there is wall interference, the Bluetooth connection may also be disconnected. If the Bluetooth connection is disconnected, it will affect the use of product functions, but the app has an automatic Bluetooth reconnection function.
5.Why is there no response when tapping or touching the jewelry for the first time?

1. If silver and gold are used, it's natural for silver to oxidize and gold to fade over time. Each mark left by the wearer on jewelry is a symbol of unique memory. Don't stress over preventing from wear and tear, simply be careful with your jewelry is enough.
2. Avoid direct contact between your jewelry and chemical substances. Store it carefully, preferably put the jewelry in its original packaging, and protect it from scratches.
